Doom It Yourself In Action

This page contains some examples of the DIY engine in action. The engine was compiled for 32bpp with transparency and full resampling. The images were taken from the Hell Revealed demo HF32-314 which can be found on TAS. The resampling uses bilinear interpolation to achieve smooth colour changes within objects; it doesn't blend the edges with the background, though, so thing outlines are still jagged.


Note in particular the transparent, resampled archvile fire.


Somewhat smaller archvile fire and a couple of good-looking Mancubi.
